Before the disaster with my feet occured, I had decided to do an awesome thing and systematize ALL HP fics I love and like. I thought it might be a good idea to keep them in one place, very convenient. Besides, it can serve as my rec page. Some time later it will be easier to transfer it to my site when it's ready.

While colecting URLs, I re-read many absolutely amazing fics. And you know, guys, I'm stunned. Look how much good fiction there are! Look how many talented, creative people! Doing this job, I was feeling like a proverbal cat with cream. I want to tell you all that I'm happy to read you, and I'm honoured to know you!
Well, I'm not blind or delusional, I can see that fandom can be wanky, and people can be petty, and shallow, and you all have seen me complaining about the number of bad and 'less good' fics I read. But that's not the point. The point is that there are HUNDREDS of fics I love and consider good! There are hundreds of authors that bring readers joy, pleasure and content, that clean our souls with catharsis.

I'm overfilled with love, and I want to share pointers to what I love with you.

What you'll find here

I can't possibly write reviews of all my favourite fics, so I'll go through my HP folders and pick up everything I loved, liked, found interesting or amusing, and put it all here.
So, now I'm inviting you to make acquaintance with what I keep on my hard drive in the folder proudly named "1" (as opposed to everything else, when I bother to save it). Come in, make yourself comfortable. Surely, there will be something here that you haven't read?

I should say at once that of course no, it's not everything of what I liked. For my regret, I often have to read things during breaks at work, so, most likely, I've lost and forgotten another couple of dozens of short stories. But there's a comforting thought, too. Even after looking at all these treasures, I know that there are good *authors*, let alone fics, whom I have never read or read too little of! It means that this link-collection will be expanding further.

============

Fics are sorted by pairing, then by length within a pairing group, and further within - in alphabetical order.

Rec 'stars' mean *only* the extent of my love, there are no fics I didn't like here.
## -- love.
# -- like very much or consider very interesting.
no mark -- think it to be a good fic but it's not the type of fiction I love (too dark for me, or too fluffy. Or maybe it's a good old PWP. Or smth else.) Or it can mean that I like this fic or really consider it interesting, or original and worth reading, but there are some problems there that might spoil reading for smb else (grammar or spelling errors, OOCness, uneven writing).

AU stands for the fics where the author changes the known canon background (Sirius is out of prison when Harry is two; Snape is Harry's father; Snape was killed in the Srieking Shack incident). X-overs where HP characters are placed into another book circumstances so that HP-verse is barely recognizable, are also marked AU. I don't consider AU fics where the author pretends that Sirius didn't die. And I'm ready to agree with the idea of Snape fucking 14-year-old Harry as non-AU :)

Once again, there's NO fiction I didn't like here or stories that didn't work for me. Here, whether with # or not, are only fics I like picked up from several thousands of HP fics I've read. I'm not joking, they were, indeed, that much.

This list, naturally, reflects my personality and my preferences only. I don't pretend to be objective.

Here there are no summaries, it will take me too much time. But I'll put in ratings.

Consider yourself warned: there are NO warnings in the fic-info here. I'm not particularly squicky, I read everything and anything, even the things I don't usually like, so here you can find: chan, character death and afterlife, rape and violence, BDSM, MPreg and weddings and many, many other things one can find squicky or disturbing. Tread with care.
