Thematic list - Vodemort possesses somebody's body
THIS LIST IS NO LONGER UPDATED! THE NEW VERSION IS AT MY SITE, HERE. Please update your bookmarks!

I decided to go on with interesting scenarios involving Voldemort, so the topic is Voldemort possesses somebody's body. The other lists in the Voldemort arc are "Voldemort won" scenario and Defeat Voldie 101.

Conditions:
- I accept fics where Voldemort possesses the body of another character (Harry, Albus, Lucius, etc).
- The fics where Voldemort's possession of Quirrel's body is shown are also acceptable, but only if it's very detailed.
- It doesn't matter whether Voldemort did it after he had won or lost, or before the final battle, or as an independent plot. All are OK as long as he's inside somebody else.

King Draco's code, or Big No-Nos:
- no fics where the fact that Voldemort inhabits somebody's body is only mentioned but not described.
- Tom's interaction with Ginny via his diary doesn't count, nor do similar interactions with other characters. I'm interested in actual possession of a body, as in, he lives inside somebody else.
- Legilimency and other kinds of mind-rape / intrusion don't count.
- no WIPs that have only a chapter or two written.
- do not bring fics you haven't read;
- do not bring fics you didn't like;
- do me a courtesy, please, do not leave only a link. I'd appreciate the following info: author, title, pairing, rating, WIP status; whose body Voldemort possesses. But if you are certain about some fic but don't remember whose it was or where to find it, just tell me, I'll try and find it on my own.

Please, be warned that the very fact that I include certain fics here is a spoiler for them! So if you don't want spoilers, avoid it.

Fics are sorted by TITLE in alphabetical order (articles excluded, i.e. The Beast is placed under 'B'.)

These are NOT my recs, it's just a collection of thematic links.

Special marks:

In order to continue his existence, Voldemort took Harry’s flesh for his own, and the two became one. This new entity, more powerful and terrible than either overran Europe quickly with his followers, and the Resistance was quickly snuffed out. America was bought off with a non-aggression treaty, and the new Dark Lord made the former school of Hogwarts his palace. Subtle, by fleab (click the 'next' button to read the following chapters, or go to [info]subtle_by_fleab and start from the bottom) NR

However, there are some things you can impossibly deny or forget, no matter how hard you might try doing so. They will come back to haunt you one way or another. Eventually, they always do."

Time and Tithe, by [info]cedarlibrarian
HP/LM/DM; NC-17. Summary: "Draco finds himself on the losing side of the war, and Lucius's offer to save Draco's life doesn't go quite the way Draco wants." Warnings: Bondage,incest, minor use of an Unforgivable Curse, non-con. Merging of Harry and Voldemort rather than possession.

Walking the Line, by [info]silentauror (or here)
HP/DM; NC-17, novel-length. Summary: "Sixth year is over and Draco Malfoy is on the run. The war is on and an unwanted assignment is forced upon him by the only people he trusts - and a one-time arch-enemy who just may be out to kill him. Spoilers for HBP." Huge spoiler, so white on white, highlight it to be able to read: Voldemort is Dumbledore. But the tricky part is that they have both come back from the death and they share a body with each other and with Fawkes because their Horcruxes were stored in the same item, so they are practically fused.

Many thanks to everybody who helped with the search!

Know other fics where Voldemort possesses somebody? Please, share!
